This 6 week class will dive into improv basics and fundamentals, beginning with object work and improv games and move towards scenework, to prepare students to perform in a fully improvised show at the end of the session. Paul Constable is an Alumni of Toronto's Second City. While there he helped create six Mainstage shows, including the Canadian Comedy Award winning Psychedelicatessen. He also taught improvisation, having directed a variety of Conservatory Graduation shows, as well as teaching hundreds of people the basics of Yes, And...
He has appeared in various theatrical productions, such as A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story...just to name a few. On TV he has been in such shows as Little Mosque on the Prairie, The Ron James Show, Murdoch Mysteries and he played the part of Stanley in She's The Mayor. Most people know him best from a part he has played for over a decade, that of Gary, the Canadian Tire Guy. Yes...that guy.
