Lynn Hirschberg, a writer for the Times does a bunch of these videos for W magazine called screen tests and features actors answering personal questions about their experience of movies mostly. I found this one interesting- snippets of several actors (from different generations) explaining which movies made them cry. So I ask you, what makes you cry? I teach that the most important element in acting is the truth. So its important to, as Meisner said, gain an intimate knowledge of your instrument. So what makes you cry? What makes you sing? What truly makes you laugh? Who would you kill for and what would you die for? You must know what makes you tick. So when you need to get there, wherever "there" may be, you can do it in an instant.
